VCRTA member Julia Bonham was awarded the Vigo County 2023 Excellence in Education award by the Vigo County Education Foundation for her work as a life long educator, volunteer, and mentor. Julia’s compassion, knowledge, dedication to legislative issues, and willingness to help others are just a few of the characteristics that make Julia a truly special retired educator. She has also supported and continues to be an invaluable member of the Vigo County Retired Teachers Association.
