The Vigo County Retired Teachers Association members had an enjoyable luncheon, participated in the association’s spring service project, and joined an informative presentation on healthy living.

VCRTA members were treated to an informative presentation by Brian Garcia, Stacy Brownbridge, and L.T. Thompson on “Wellness for Life”. The presentation included a great discussion on ways to eat healthy, staying physically active, and remaining mentally stimulated.

Vice President Millie Vaughn announced that the 2017 Excellence In Education Award for a Retired Teacher was being awarded to Jenny LaRoche. All VCRTA members are encouraged to make reservations and attend the Excellence In Education Awards Dinner on April 11, 2017 at Saint Mary of the Woods College.
