VCRTA August 2021 Luncheon

For our August luncheon, we are planning to have Dr. Haworth, Superintendent of the Vigo County School Corporation, as our guest speaker. Dr. Haworth will be discussing upcoming decisions regarding our school corporation facilities. Come for the fun but more importantly just to get back together and see each other once again.

Traditionally, we collect school supplies at our August luncheon as one of our community service projects. This year, we are changing things up a bit. We will be collecting toiletries for the Catholic Charities Christmas store. Items needed include: shampoo, soap, toothpaste, bubble bath, deodorant, baby wipes, baby powder, other personal hygiene items, women’s socks and booties.

You should receive a call from the Calling Committee to make your lunch reservation; however, if you do not receive a call by 08/05/21, please call 812-243-0892 to make your reservation.

Members will have an opportunity to pay their $10 2021-2022 annual dues.

As a reminder, you will be responsible for the cost of the reservation even if you are not able to attend the luncheon.  Reservations must be cancelled no later than 9AM on the Friday before a luncheon.  You should contact the Calling Committee Chairperson at 812-243-0892 directly to cancel your luncheon reservation.  Anyone that does not cancel their reservation and does not show up, will still be charged for the luncheon fee.
