Volunteer Hours
Online Form Submission
The Vigo County Retired Teachers Association is pleased to announce a new way for our members to submit volunteer hours.
While members can always submit volunteer hours using the paper form, VCRTA hopes this online feature provides another convenient option for you.
Volunteering
As a member of the Vigo County Retired Teachers Association, you are aware of the importance of community service and volunteering.
You have volunteered throughout the year to serve the community. It is now time to report your gracious efforts. Many or just a few, each hour is an investment in the community and recognition of VCRTA’s mission.
In the Volunteer Hours Online form, you will be asked for similar information that would be requested on the paper copy of the Volunteer Hours form.
Reminders:
- You are reminded that your Community Service volunteer hours include your travel time.
- Please designate your volunteer “Youth” hours. Examples of “Youth” hours include CASA, mentoring, tutoring, Scouts, Big Brother & Big Sister, FFA, 4H, Little League Sports, etc.
- Please designate your volunteer “Other” hours. Examples of “Other” hours include community groups for adults (AARP, Kiwanis, VFW), Red Cross, Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels, etc. You may also include service to other adults (not family) like transportation, working at the polls, assisting at hospitals or nursing facilities, mission work, etc.
You will be asked to supply some basic information and then will step through each quarter of the year to enter volunteer hours.
Thank you for submitting your volunteer hours through the website.
